Gardall’s History

Founded in 1950, the Gardall Safe Corporation has been family owned and operated since its inception.

For the first 15 years of existence, Gardall was primarily known as a northeast regional safe manufacturer. From 1970-1985, efforts were focused on product development and quality. The resulting advancements in manufacturing enabled Gardall to launch a variety of new products, many of which passed the extremely rigorous independent U.L. tests for fire and impact.

This priority on quality, integrity, and craftsmanship has enabled Gardall to become a world leader in residential, small business, and commercial grade safes.

Gardall has been recognized three separate times as a premium selection by Consumers Digest Magazine and featured in the Discovery Channel’s It Takes A Thief. We are a proud, family business committed to providing the best security products in the industry.
